The company says its climate goals are guided by the need for decisive, science-aligned action to mitigate the effects of climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Validated by the&nbsp;Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), VET.CT\u2019s commitments include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reducing scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by more than 50 per cent within 10 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Measuring and reducing scope 3 emissions across its supply chain and partnerships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 through a 90 per cent reduction across scopes 1, 2 and 3, prioritising decarbonisation before offsetting unavoidable residual emissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All targets are publicly listed on the&nbsp;SBTi Target Dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Reese, Managing Director of VET.CT Asia-Pacific, said the company views climate change as both an environmental and a health issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cReaching carbon neutrality in 2024 was a proud milestone for us, but we know we must go further,\u201d he said. \u201cBy aligning our goals with climate science, we aim to protect the future health of the planet and the communities and patients we serve.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Global teleradiology provider&nbsp;VET.CT&nbsp;has become one of the first veterinary companies worldwide to have its science-based net-zero targets officially validated, furthering its commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practice.
