Australia Zoo’s bird benefactor swoops in
Russell Crowe has helped save the life of an injured kookaburra in Queensland. The academy award winner donated an unknown amount to Australia Zoo to facilitate the purchase of an endoscope required to save the bird which had swallowed a fishing hook.
